About Us

Meet Cooper

Our Story

Ten years ago our family experienced the death of someone very close to us. Our 14 year old rescued Golden Retriever crossed the Rainbow Bridge around that same time.

We were not emotionally ready to get another dog. During the time of our grieving process, Jen went back to work. A patient mentioned that a friend had Golden Retriever puppies. She didn't know what we had all just been through.

We took that as a sign and called the friend. The puppies were born on the day of the funeral (another sign). When we met the puppies, one was a red Golden like Sam. We knew that was the one for us.

From the moment we brought Cooper home, he was a therapeutic companion.  He was surprisingly calm for a puppy and has been ever since.  The love and comfort he has given us has been invaluable.  We’d like to honor Cooper by using his name to be able to give warmth and comfort to others. 🐾❤️
